Name: Chloe
Age: 7
Colour: Bay
Supplement: Missy's Bucket
Chloe arrived with Priscilla in August 2019. She was in terrible shape, her coat was dull and she lacked condition. She had hollows above her eyes, no top-line and poverty lines on her rump. The real problem though was her hooves. They were in such a state that Priscilla was concerned that they would never come right.
"Unfortunately, I never took any pictures, but her hooves were a real mess. She had a 1 cm hole in the front offside, deep cracks in all of them, and they were very flakey. She wasn't able to walk on any hard or gravel/rocky areas and to top it off not long before her arrival her hoof was penetrated by a star picket that left her with a hole on the bottom of her hoof." says Priscilla.
As soon as Chloe arrived, she started on Missy's Bucket. Within two weeks, there was a noticeable change in her condition. By November, just four months after Chloe's arrival, these pictures were taken at Emma's Showhorse 10th Championship Show & the Thoroughbred Spring Fair. It is clear how quickly Chloe's condition improved.
A year on, and Chloe has continued to be feed Missy's Bucket. Her hooves are now in great shape with no ongoing issues, and her coat is radiant.
"My farrier always comments on how awesome her hooves are, especially for a Thoroughbred!" says Priscilla.
"Consistency is more important than perfection. A little progress each day adds up to significant results."
This is Breeze. Breeze was as in poor condition and had been neglected when I first picked him up. I focussed on improving his diet and he received daily minerals along with a small carrier feed and good quality grass and pasture.
